I want you to feel welcome here at natural resources-women as treasure. Until you know your way around my web site (maybe even after you do) a site map will come in handy. My daughter who offers web design as one of her services, tells me I need more organization on my site. I am building my site using SBI, because I am able to learn as I go along.
Now to tell you a little about the site. I'm not sure 'Women' would pop into your head if you were asked about Nature Resources.
My Home Page makes the first connection here on the web site between women and our more commonly recognized resources.

Abused Natural Resources
Are our natural resources being abused. Yes they are. So we who are strong, have a voice, and are not afraid to use it - should speak out against it. Wherever and however it rears it's ugly head.
As I have stated many times within the pages of this web site - Women I consider you a natural resource; so I encourage you to take care of yourself, and your AOR.
Women
We are looking for a few good women that have the courage to be Unique! When was the last time the woman looking back at you in the mirror looked happy? Smiling, not because of fame or fortune, but because her life has meaning and purpose.
Poetry
has been an outlet for me. Writing brings a smile to my face. I have poems that I have not placed on this site because of concerns regarding plagiarism. I'm ready to press forward. Do you know what Goldenseeds are? Can you spend them, or do you plant them? What about Golden Nuggets? Can I take these to the bank? Maybe you can (smile). There are potential treasures that we at 'Women As Treasure' encourage you to search for. How do we locate these treasures? With a Treasure Map of course!
Lost Treasure
Do you want to find out how you can receive a map to your very own treasure chest? Not just any old container, a precious one that has been filled with ...? Do you try to blend in because many times you feel like a lump of coal? Whether you were treated like one, or just feel like you were, check this page out. What do we do with all the stress and pain that comes our way?
Conserve
Are we excused from conserving because we don't have a lot of glass, plastic, or paper to recycle? Is that the only way to conserve? Find out what your little bit can do.
Recycle to make it happen. One woman's trash is another woman's treasure! Let's get the rubbish out of the landfills.
Reuse... is that like 'hand me downs', or shopping at 'second hand stores'...? It doesn't have to mean that.
Here's a tip - Our little ones love to draw and write (some may call it scribbling). I've seen children make a long line on the paper and then move on to another piece of paper. Why not have them use the other side of the "messed up" copy you attempted to print.
You were going to toss it anyway.
Have we become so wealthy that it is distasteful to use something more that once? If you put your mind to it I'm sure you can come up with some innovative ways to reuse things.

Unique Events
Who would have believed 45 (plus) years ago that the 'tom boy' they were watching grow up before eyes would grow up to enjoy so called 'girly' things. This is a picture of my Thanksgiving Table last year. Being a hostess isn't such a scary thing. We plan to add words of encouragement, a few hints, and tips along the way. Women As Treasure plans to host yearly events for women. We will be making donations to organizations that seek to help women. We also thought it would be fun to post images of the events that I attend and or host.
