Faith Is Golden Seed Number Three

Remember your A,B,C's for the Golden Seeds

(A-Discover, B-Evaluate, C-Discover)

A - Faith is confidence; loyalty; belief; belief in God; belief in the teachings of your religion.

B - Seed- You desire to be true to, and have confidence in what you believe.

Sapling- You understand intellectually that you are not to be swayed by situations and circumstances. You are not always successful in standing firm on what you believe.

Matured- Your confidence and beliefs are strong; you do not waver. Your faith stands strong in the face of adversity. You believe against all odds.

C - Seed- Realize that your confidence is not where it should be. It is not consistent. You believe one day, then you have doubt the next. You need to work towards stabilization.

Sapling-Move your beliefs from your intellect to your heart. Don't rely only on what you see. 2 Cor. 5:7.
Continue to work towards strong confidence and beliefs.

Matured- Question? Do we ever reach a point in our lives when we can say "My faith is strong"? Is it possible to obtain such a state? I'm not sure. This seems to be something that we continually strive to perfect (or mature).

However if you should reach this point in your life, be sure to help others to strengthen their confidence.

How To Measure Confidence

Is there a way to measure what you believe? I mean you either believe it or you don't, right?

In order to measure something you should have a starting point.

  • A foundation upon which to build.
  • A beginning from which to proceed.

  • It is important to know what you believe and why. Do not be 'wishy-washy'; people will not respect you. Make sure you have a firm foundation that way you will not be so easily swayed. Know that if you do not stand for something... you may fall for anything.

You can have a negative belief system as well as a positive one. Let's get to work being positive. It takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile. Besides frowns put wrinkles on your face. In Proverbs 17:22 it says "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." A good belief system can put you on the road to happiness!
